The Casa Grande de Trives welcomes tourists and travellers. Opened in 1989 as a Guest House, based on the French model of 'Chambres d'hôtes' or the Portuguese 'Turismo de Habitaçao', at the time the concept was new in Spain but is now known as Turismo Rural. In practice it functions as a small hotel, according to the criteria of the English hotel guide; 'Small Charming Hotels', in which it can be found.
